T20 World Cup 2023: India defeats Pakistan
The T20 Women’s Cricket World cup is being held in Cape Town, South Africa. As a part of the world cup, the Indian and Pakistani teams played against each other. India won the match. Pakistan won the task and chose to bat. The team set a target of 150 runs. India won the match by reaching the target of 151 runs losing just three wickets. The Richa Gosh and Jemimah partnership helped India win the match.
About T20 World Cup
ICC conducts the world cup. It is a biennial event, meaning held once in two years. The 2023 tournament is to be held in Bangladesh and the 2026 tournament is in England. Australia is the most successful team at the T20 Women’s Cricket World Cup. The team has won the cup five times. The first world cup was held in 2009 in England. India has not won the cup yet. In 2020, India was the runner and Australia won the cup.
