Sticky bomb

Sticky bomb is an improvised explosive device or IED with inbuilt magnets and timer. These can be stuck on vehicles and can be controlled using remote control device. These were used by the British forces during the Second World War and also found extensive use in Afghanistan and Iraq. Recently, these bombs were recovered in Jammu and Kashmir region and is also emerging as a new security threat ahead of the Amarnath Yatra.
