Bihar has become the first state in the country to introduce the concept of a dynamic map for villages.
The dynamic maps will get updated every time land ownership changes hands. This new move is aimed at reducing legal disputes. The State Assembly recently passed the Bihar Land Mutation Amendment Bill, 2021 that made the mutation of maps mandatory.

Notes:
The Union Cabinet approved the continuation of the National AIDS and STD control programme from April 1 to March 31, 2026.
It is a Central Sector Scheme fully funded by the Government of India. The phase-V of the programme has been extended with an outlay of Rs 15471.94 crore. The National AIDS response was initiated by the Government of India in 1992.

Heavy rainfall and strong winds hit Andaman and Nicobar Islands, as a deep depression intensified over the north Andaman Sea, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The deep depression intensified into a cyclonic storm named ‘Cyclone Asani’ and made landfall near the port city of Thandwe in Myanmar.

Hyderabad FC lifted their maiden Indian Super League title after defeating Kerala Blasters in the final match held in Goa.
Hyderabad FC skipper Joao Victor, Khassa Camara and Halicharan Narzary scored for their team. Kerala Blasters ended second for the third time in a final clash.

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 4,013 crore to Odisha, the highest in the country.
The assistance has been sanctioned for critical rural infrastructure development under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF) during 2021-22.

Kuwait recently became the hottest place on earth, with the temperature at 53.2 degrees Celsius (127.7 degrees Fahrenheit).
As per a recent study, 67 percent of heat-related deaths in the capital was due to climate change. The Country continues to burn oil for electricity and ranks among the top global carbon emitters per capita, according to the World Resources Institute.

Mukhyamantri Park Saundaryakaran Yojana is a scheme being implemented by the Government of Delhi.
As part of the scheme, the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal directed officials to transform 17 city forests in the national capital in an area of about 3000 acres to ‘World-Class level’ Forests.  1,500 parks are being transformed in collaboration with 450 Resident Welfare Association (RWAs) under ‘Community Parks’ initiative.

The Abel Prize for the year 2022 has been awarded to Professor Dennis Parnell Sullivan. It is awarded annually to outstanding mathematicians.
The award was established by the Norwegian Government in 2002, and is managed by The Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters. Professor Sullivan was awarded the prize “For his contributions to topology, in particular its algebraic, geometric and dynamical aspects.”

India’s AYUSH Ministry is set to conduct the world’s first clinical trial to examine the efficacy of Ayurveda in treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis.
It added that the clinical trial will be conducted in accordance with International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use – Good Clinical Practice (ICH- GCP) guidelines.

The Supreme Court recently ruled that State Legislatures have the power to tax lotteries organised by other states.
A lottery conducted by Government of India, states or authorised by a state or conducted by private entities is an activity falling within the nomenclature of ‘betting and gambling’.
