The Blue Heart Campaign was also launched where the blue heart represents the sadness of those who are trafficked, as well as the cold-heartedness of those who buy and sell fellow human beings.

Aurangabad has become the first in the country to release the Environmental Insights Explorer (EIE) data from Google.
Under the EIE feature, cities measure the carbon emission sources, conduct analysis and identify strategies to reduce emissions. The EIE feature in India is only available for Aurangabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune and Aurangabad is the first city to make the transportation emissions data public.

The SVC Co-operative Bank (SVC Bank) has signed an agreement with the Small Industries Development Bank in India (SIDBI) to improve the flow of credit to MSMEs.
The Shamrao Vithal Co-operative Bank is a scheduled co-operative bank in India that was established in 1906.

Union Minister for Commerce & Industry Piyush Goyal announced that India has achieved a landmark milestone, as there are 75000 startups in the country.
The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has recognized more than 75,000 startups.  The initial ten thousand startups were recognized in 808 days, while the latest ten thousand were achieved in only 156 days.

Lava and smoke was spewed from Mount Fagradalsfjall, located near the capital of Iceland, Reykjavik.
A volcano erupted for six months in 2021 in the mountain. Geldingadalir volcano erupted in an uninhabited valley near Reykjavik, after days of continuous seismic activity.

China fired ballistic missiles and deployed fighter jets and warships as it began its largest-ever military exercises around Taiwan, a show of force
This was commenced as retaliation to the visit of the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s to the island. Pelosi was the highest-profile US official to visit Taiwan in years. The Taiwanese cabinet said the drills would disrupt 18 international routes passing through its flight information region.

The goods and services tax (GST) e-invoicing will be mandatory for firms with a turnover of over Rs 10 crore from October 1, as per the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs.
The current threshold is Rs 20 crores. E-invoicing for business-to-business (B2B) transactions started with a threshold of turnover of over Rs 500 crore, from October 1, 2020. It was gradually reduced.

The Uttar Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Deloitte India, appointing it as a consultant for achieving the target of raising the state’s economy to USD 1 trillion.
This decision was based on the recommendation of a high-powered committee. Deloitte India is set to present a future action plan after conducting a sector-wise study.

A common ‘Rashtriya Puruskar’ Portal has been developed by the Government of India, to bring all the Awards of the various Ministries/Departments/Agencies of the Government of India under one digital platform.
This Portal aims to facilitate citizens to nominate individuals or organizations for various Awards instituted by the Government of India. Recently the Government invited nominations for ‘Vayoshreshtha Samman’ and ‘Padma’ awards.

Notes:
The Government has set the target to eliminate Kala-azar by 2023 from the country. In a written reply in Lok Sabha given by the Union Health Minister, out of 633 Kala-azar endemic blocks, 625 blocks have achieved the elimination target last year.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) Neglected Tropical Diseases Road map has set the target for Kala-azar elimination as 2030.
