According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, he surpassed the Microsoft co-founder by USD 230 million. Adani has added USD 36 billion to his wealth this year, more than anyone else.

AlphaFold is an Artificial Intelligence tool developed by Alphabet-owned AI research company DeepMind Technologies.
The tool has predicted and published the structures of over 200 million protein structures in collaboration with the European Bioinformatics Institute. This is considered as the most influential database for biological research.

Unclaimed deposits are defined as balance in savings, current accounts, or term deposits which are not claimed for within ten years from date of maturity. These amounts are transferred by banks to ‘Depositor Education and Awareness’ (DEA) Fund maintained by the Reserve Bank of India.
RBI has been encouraging people to claim such deposits from the respective banks. However, the amount of unclaimed deposits is on the rise.

The telecom operator Vodafone Idea Ltd. (VIL) launched ‘Ready for Next program’ through its Vi Business arm.
The program aims to help 2.5 lakh MSMEs in their journey of digital transformation. MSME sector makes 30 per cent contribution in the GDP of India and has an employment basket of 110 million Indians.

Lok Sabha passed Central Universities (Amendment), Bill 2022 for conversion of the National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI), a Deemed to be University into Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), a Central University.
As per the Education Ministry, the Gati Shakti University will be a world-class, multi-disciplinary, and futuristic institution for the transport sectors.

Guindy National Park is located in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the very few national parks situated inside a city.
A first-of its kind urban animal rescue centre has been set up recently in the national park by the Tamil Nadu Forest Department to help the injured and rescued wildlife.

The four-day International Dairy Federation World Dairy Summit (IDF WDS 2022), is scheduled to be held in New Delhi from September 12.
India is the world’s largest milk producer with largest cattle population while it lags behind in yield. From the summit, India will learn lessons to improve its per animal milk productivity from advanced nations.

INS Sumedha is an indigenously built Naval Offshore Patrol Vessel and is is part of the Indian Navy’s Eastern Fleet based at Visakhapatnam.
As part of the Indian Navy’s Long Range Deployment in the South Eastern Indian Ocean, INS Sumedha, is on a visit to Port Tanjung Benoa, Bali, en route to Perth, Australia, to coincide with India’s Independence Day. The ship undertook a Maritime Partnership Exercise the vessel of the Indonesian Navy.
