Model Act 2018

The State/UT Agricultural Produce & Livestock Contract Farming and Services (Promotion & Facilitation) Act, 2018 or Model Act, 2018 is a central law dealing with the contract farming like that of recently enacted Farmers (Empowerment Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020. The latter will now supersede the Model Act, based on which several states have enacted laws on contract farming.
