Mitali express
Mitali Express is a passenger train that was recently inaugurated by the Indian PM and the Bangladeshi PM. This is the 3rd such passenger connectivity project after Maitree Express and the Bandhan Express. The train will ply between New Jalpaiguri of West Bengal to Dhaka Cantonment in Bangladesh. It will pass through the Chilahati railway station that lies on the border between the 2 countries. It is a biweekly train with 10 coaches and is expected to boost tourism.
