Malaria elimination certificate

Malaria elimination certificate is given to a country that has successfully disrupted the local transmission of malaria for at least three consecutive years. El Salvador recently became the first country in Central America and the third in all Americas to get this tag from the World Health Organisation in recent years. The other countries in WHO Regions of Americas to receive it in recent years are Paraguay and Argentina.
