Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga National Park is a protected area in Assam. It is known to host the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Numerous rare birds are known to visit this World Heritage Site. The latest two-day census recorded a total of 93,491 birds. This is an increase from the last year’s figure of 34,284. The recent census recorded 112 bird species and 22 families.
