India’s first CNG tractor

India’s first CNG tractor was unveiled by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari. It is estimated to reduce annual fuel cost worth Rs.1.5 lakh. This tractor was converted from diesel to CNG. This conversion is a joint endeavour of Rawmatt Techno Solutions and Tomasetto Achille India. It is significant since CNG is cleaner and cheaper than diesel. It price is comparatively consistent. It is expected to benefit farmers by reducing the operational costs.
