India and Mauritius Sign Oil and Gas Cooperation MoU
India and Mauritius signed a Government-to-Government Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the oil and gas sector in Port Louis, Mauritius, on 20 August 2026. The agreement was signed by Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, and John Michaël Tzoun Sao Yeung Sik Yuen, Mauritius Minister of Commerce and Consumer Protection.
