Hohenzollern

Hohenzollern is a royal dynasty in Germany. Its origin can be traced back to the 11th century. One of its most notable member is Kaiser Wilhelm II, the last emperor of Germany, whose foreign policy is considered as one of the causes of the World War I. When the Kaiser abdicated his throne in 1918, he retained a huge amount of wealth in the form of artworks, silver, palaces, villas, etc. In the recent times, Georg Friedrich Prinz von Preussen, the current head of the dynasty, has been trying to recover his family’s possession including sculptures, paintings, books, etc.
