Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill

The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2021 is a bill that gives more powers to the central government over the Delhi government. It was recently passed in the Lok Sabha. It seeks to amend 4 clauses in the 1991 Act. The objective of the bill is to end the ambiguity in roles of the nominated Lieutenant Governor and the elected government in Delhi.
