Gender Budget

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy recently announced that his government would be the first come up with a Gender Budget concept during this year’s budget. The Gender Budget will involve the presentation of data related to the allocation for and spending on women’s welfare under various government schemes. This announcement was made during the occasion of International Women’s Day.
