Everydays- The First 5000 Days is a jpg file created by Beeple, a digital artist. It was recently auctioned at 69.3 million USD- a new high for non fungible tokens. The digital artwork consists of a collage of all images posted online by the artist since 2007. This piece is also the first purely digital non-fungible token sold by the 255 year old auction house, Christie’s. Earlier Beeple had also created other digital artwork like the 10 second video called ‘Crossroad’.
