Special Intensive Revision of Electoral Rolls
The Special Intensive Revision is a large-scale electoral roll exercise used to verify voter details, add eligible electors, and remove deceased, shifted, or duplicate entries. The enumeration phase of the 2026 revision runs from 30 June to 29 July, and the draft electoral roll is scheduled for publication on 5 August 2026.

In Delhi, more than 13,000 Booth Level Officers have been deployed across 13 districts for verification of 1.45 crore voters. Across the country, over 3.94 lakh Booth Level Officers are engaged in house-to-house verification, with support from 3.42 lakh Booth Level Agents nominated by political parties.
