China Conducts Submarine-Launched Ballistic Missile Test

China conducted a submarine-launched ballistic missile test in the South Pacific on Monday, 6 July 2026. The missile carried a dummy warhead and was launched at 12:01 p.m. local time, or 0401 GMT, from one of China’s nuclear-powered submarines.
