Chang’e-4 lunar probe

China’s Chang’e-4 lunar probe made history on 3^rd January 2019 when it made the first-ever soft landing on the far side of the moon. It also provided close-up pictures of the previously unexplored regions of the moon. Its lander and rover have been recently switched to dormant mode on 19^th February due to the lack of solar power. Its rover, Yutu-2 has become the longest-working lunar rover after it surpassed its design lifespan.
