Asit Tripathy Elected President of Odisha Steel Producers’ Association

The Odisha Steel Producers’ Association (OSPA), a newly formed industry body representing major steel and mining companies in the state, has unanimously elected former Odisha Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy as its President. The announcement was made during a meeting of member companies on 20 April 2026. Asit Tripathy, currently Advisor to Jindal Steel and former Chief Secretary of Odisha, brings decades of experience in governance, public policy, and industrial administration.
