Antarvedi temple

Antarvedi temple is a shrine dedicated to Lord Lakshmi Narasimha and is located in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. It is a 15th or 16th century temple located at the meeting point of the Bay of Bengal and Vashista Godavari River. The temple is noted for the annual Kalyanotsavam festival and the famous Antarvedi Rathotsavam in February. Recently, the AP government inaugurated a 42 foot wooden chariot made of bastar teak wood and bearing 7 stories ahead of the annual festivals.
