Anand satellite

Anand is Indian space startup Pixxel’s first satellite. It was set to be launched on board the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) C51 on February 28. Its launch was cancelled due to software issues. This satellite is part of Pixxel’s Firefly fleet of earth observation satellites. It will help detect, monitor and predict global phenomena in real-time. It can warn about pest infestation, crop diseases, forest fires, pollution, oil spills, geological changes etc.
