Accredited driving training centres

Accredited driving training centres are training centres that can be set up by anyone if they fulfil the accreditation criteria given by the centre and pay a fee of 50,000 INR. The application is processed by the state transport authority and a license is issued for a 5 year period for these centres. These centres will also provide user-specific courses, refresher courses and remedial courses. This move will help eliminate the need to perform tests before state authorities to obtain licence.
