10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024

As Gujarat prepares for the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) in January 2024, themed as ‘Gateway to the Future,’ significant partnerships with 16 countries and 14 organizations have been confirmed. These collaborations aim to contribute to the success of the mega event and foster bilateral relations.

Confirmed Partner Countries

The 16 confirmed partner countries include Japan, Finland, Morocco, Republic of Korea, Mozambique, Estonia, UAE, Australia, UK, Netherlands, Norway, Nepal, Thailand, Bangladesh, Germany, and Egypt. Each partner country plays a pivotal role in enhancing collaboration, trade, and investment opportunities.

Leading organizations participating in the event include American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM India), Canada India Foundation, EPIC India-University of Chicago, Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC), Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (ICCC), Indo-African Chamber of Commerce & Industry, International Solar Alliance, Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), Netherlands Business Support Office (NBSO), and more.

Crucial Role in Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Partner countries and organizations have been integral to the success of previous VGGS editions, contributing to high-profile representation and stimulating responses in socio-economic and cultural collaborations. The upcoming summit aims to attract investments in emerging sectors such as semiconductors, green hydrogen, e-mobility, renewable energy, and FinTech.

Partner Countries and Organizations will actively participate in Sectoral & Country Seminars, aligning with the overarching vision of Viksit Bharat at 2047. Their involvement is crucial for creating a conducive environment for collaboration and investment.

Global Outreach Efforts

The state government has undertaken extensive efforts to reach out to global investors, with the Chief Minister, senior ministers, and bureaucrats touring across continents, holding meetings, and organizing roadshows. The VGGS 2024 is positioned as a platform to showcase investment opportunities and promote economic growth.

Pre-Event Conclaves and Initiatives

Ahead of the main summit, various events have been lined up as precursors. A startup conclave is scheduled to discuss key aspects of the startup ecosystem, covering topics such as Startup Ecosystem Enhancement, Investment Landscape, Innovation and Research, Government Support, Market Access, Funding and Financial Inclusion, and Startup Challenges.
