Wildlife Crime Control Bureau

The Wildlife Crime Control Bureau or WCCB is a statutory body under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change set up in 2008 for curbing organised wildlife crime in India. Recently, the WCCB caught Wildlife Trafficking Syndicates in Jammu and Kashmir. It collaborated with the Jammu and Kashmir Police to seize illegal products from two offenders who partnered in the Illegal Wildlife Trade.
