Uttar Pradesh to conduct first census of Otters
For the first time, Uttar Pradesh has undertaken the decision to conduct census of otters in protected areas of the state. The census exercise was started from Pilibhat Tiger Reserve and will be accomplished by the end of March 2019 covering all protected areas of state. The census report would be shared with the Dehradun-based Wildlife Institute of India.
