Uri storm

Uri storm is a winter storm that has impacted the USA, Canada and northern parts of Mexico. This major ice storm originated in the northwestern Pacific. More than a dozen people died due to the storm in USA’s Texas state and its more than 4.3 million people have been affected by black-outs. The extreme weather events currently affecting the Northern Hemisphere are being attributed to the weakening of the Polar Vortex at the North Pole.
