National Mission for Clean Ganga

National Mission for Clean Ganga(NMCG) is an implementation arm of the National Ganga River Basin Authority(NGRBA). NMCG was launched on 12th August 2011, since its inception, its main aim is to Rejuvenation, Protection and Management of River Ganga. It is headed by Prime Minister. NMCG has a two-tier management structure and comprises of Governing Council and Executive Committee. Both of them are headed by Director General, NMCG.
