Madhesis are a group of People from lower land of Nepal. Madhesis occupy most important geographical location called Terai (or Madhesh) which is most strategic location for Nepal’s economic prosperity and development. Terai is bordering the Indian states Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Uttaranchal. The high density of Madhesis is concentrated along the Indo-Nepal border line. Madhesi form 40-50 per cent of the total population of Nepal.
