Sukhman defeated Harman Sachdeva of Haryana in the 36-hole matchplay final after establishing an unassailable 7UP lead with seven holes to play. The contest was evenly poised early on, with both golfers tied till the sixth hole. Sukhman surged ahead to go 4UP after 12 holes and maintained a 2UP advantage at the halfway mark of the final.
