Special women commando force raised by Assam government is:

Virangana
Assam government has raised a special women commando force to prevent crime against women in Guwahati. The commando force named Virangana is the first of its kind in the country. The force has been trained in martial arts and motor driving along with handling of modern weapons. State government will review the success of this force and later extend its services to other cities.
