Indian roller skater Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma has created history by setting a new Guinness World Record in limbo skating. She achieved the fastest time to skate under descending poles over a distance of 50 metres, demonstrating exceptional flexibility, speed and balance. Shrishti Dharmendra Sharma completed the 50-metre limbo skating challenge in just 7.46 seconds. The record attempt took place on 28 February 2025 at Sai Dham City in Umbred, Maharashtra. During the attempt, Sharma glided under a series of progressively descending poles while maintaining high speed on roller skates. The feat required extraordinary control, body flexibility and precise technique to avoid touching the rods.

Improvement Over Previous Guinness Record

This was not Sharma’s first world record in the sport. She initially secured the Guinness World Records title in 2023 during an attempt on the television show “Lo Show Dei Record” in Monza, Italy. At that time, she completed the challenge in 9.59 seconds. In her latest performance, she improved the record by 2.13 seconds, marking a significant advancement in the sport and proving the impact of rigorous training and persistence.
