Scientists at Queen Mary University in London discover a new species of pterosaur

Scientists at Queen Mary University in London has recently discovered a new species of pterosaur – Cryodrakon boreas – which flew over North America 77 million years ago and was one of the largest flying animals that ever lived. This plane-sized reptile has a wingspan of 10 m and weighs 250 kg. In Greek, its name literally translates to “Frozen dragon of the north wind”.
