Bhopal hosted the ‘Cyber Crime Investigations and Intelligence Summit’ (CCIS -2022). More than 6,000 participants participated in the hybrid summit.
The objective of the summit is knowledge sharing, examining new aspects in cyber crime investigations and the case studies. The summit will also discuss the issue of Loan Apps. The summit is being organised by state cyber police in collaboration with UNICEF.

Notes:
India will hold the Presidency of G20 in 2023 starting from December 2022. Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said that India has decided to invited Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain and UAE as Guest Countries.
Chairs of International Solar Alliance (ISA), CDRI and ADB will be included as Guests. The G20 Leaders’ Summit at the level of Heads of State / Government is scheduled to be held in New Delhi.

Notes:
According to Japan Meteorological Agency, Typhhon Muifa hit Ishigaki Island, near Taiwan. The typhoon approached Japan’s southern islands.
Typhoon Muifa has also brought heavy downpours and winds to islands in Japan’s Okinawa. China has also launched emergency response as the typhoon approaches.

The sixth edition of Japan India Maritime Exercise 2022 (JIMEX 22) hosted by Indian Navy commenced in the Bay of Bengal.
The harbour phase of the Exercise is held at Visakhapatnam. The Indian Naval ships welcomed JMSDF ships Izumo, a Helicopter Carrier, and Takanami, a Guided Missile Destroyer. Indian Navy is being represented by three indigenously designed and built warships; Sahyadri, Kadmatt and Kavaratti.

National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) released the guidelines for ‘Early identification and intervention for mental health problems in school going children and adolescents’.
The guidelines include setting up of a mental health advisory panel, school based mental health programme and pedagogical support to ensure mental well- being of students and engaging parents.

Azerbaijan and Armenia, former Soviet republics, are located in the mountainous Caucasus region, which span Asia and Europe. Azerbaijan is bounded by the Caspian Sea.
Azerbaijan reported that over 70 of its troops had died in border clashes with Armenia in the worst fighting since 2020.

India clinched the SAFF under-17 Championship title, defeating Nepal in the final in Colombo. With this victory, India retains the title, lifting the title for the fourth time.
India captain Vanlalpeka Guite was named the Most Valuable Player of the Tournament, while 16-year-old Sahil Poonia won the Best Goalkeeper award.

National Sports Development Fund NSDF of the Department of Sports signed Memorandum of Understandings MoUs with NTPC and REC Ltd, two major PSUs under Ministry of Power.
NTPC made a commitment for Rs 115 crores towards Archery while REC Limited made a commitment for Rs 100 Crores for 3 years towards Women’s hockey, Boxing and athletics.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin launched the breakfast scheme for government school students from class 1 to 5 in Madurai.
The Chief Minister announced that several studies have concluded that breakfast programmes led to improvement in learning skills and school attendance. The first-ever noon meal scheme was launched in 1922 in Chennai by the Justice Party, the precursor to the Dravidian movement.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, more than 8,700 Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Kendras have been opened across the country. They sell quality generic medicines, surgical equipment in affordable prices.
It is implemented by the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers said in a statement. The government recently launched diabetes drug Sitagliptin and its combinations at rates as low as Rs 60 per pack of ten, at Janaushadhi Kendras.
