The ‘Middle Corridor,’ officially known as the Trans-Caspian East-West-Middle Corridor Initiative, initiates in Turkey and extends through the Caucasus region, including Georgia and Azerbaijan.
It then crosses the Caspian Sea, traverses Central Asia, and reaches China. China has initiated discussions with countries in the region to explore potential alignment between the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and Turkey’s Middle Corridor Initiative.

On the second day of Navratri, people across the state of Gujarat danced to Garba, Gujarat’s traditional dance form.
It is a community circle dance. During Navratri, many traditional garbas are performed around a centrally lit lamp or a picture or statue of the Goddess.

The Union Ministry of Ayush has announced that the ‘Ayurveda Day’, scheduled to be on November 10, 2023.
It will be observed on an international scale, with participation expected from around 100 countries worldwide. The theme for this year’s celebration is ‘Ayurveda for One Health,’ and it is set to become a global event.

Recently, the Jharkhand state government has made a decision to put forward a public transportation initiative known as the ‘Mukhyamantri Gram Gaadi Yojna’ for the rural inhabitants of the state.
In its initial phase, the scheme will commence with a fleet of 250 buses and is designed to establish transportation links between remote, tribal, and rural areas and other regions within the state.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has carried out searches at 76 sites across India in connection with Operation Chakra-2.
This operation involves the investigation of five distinct cases related to cyber-enabled financial frauds, including one case involving a cryptocurrency fraud amounting to Rs 100 crore. The CBI initiated these actions based on information provided by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU), FBI, Interpol, and various other international agencies.

The Sir J.J. School of Art, Architecture, and Applied Arts in Mumbai, established in 1878 has received a de-novo deemed university status and will be known as Sir J.J. School of Art, Architecture, and Design.
The university will have five new departments and aims to become an institute of eminence. The state will hold 100% stake in the Sir J.J. School of Art, Architecture, and Design Foundation, which will fund the university.

IBM signed three MoUs with three entities engaged with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) on Quantum, AI & Semiconductor.
IBM will support FutureSkills program with NIELIT and MEITY, and partner with future DESIGN startups in Quantum and Artificial Intelligence.
