Named Amaze-28, Kerala,’s first building built using 3D printing technology has been inaugurated recently.
The building, with an area of 380 square feet, one-room summer house, was designed as a demonstration project and was completed in just 28 days. The project was completed by Kera State Nirmiti Kerndra with the support of Tvasta, a Chennai-based construction tech start-up.

Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying- Parshottam Rupala inaugurated the 16th Agricultural Science Congress (ASC) at Kochi, Kerala.
Renowned agricultural economists, scientists, policymakers, academicians, farmers and entrepreneurs attended the event. Organised by the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS), the Congress is being held for the first time in Kerala, hosted by the ICAR-Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI).

Union Cabinet has approved Memorandum of Understanding between India and France on cooperation in the field of Digital Technologies.
Cabinet also approved the MoU between India and two countries – Papua New Guinea and Trinidad & Tobago- on cooperation in sharing successful Digital Solutions.

The Joe Biden administration in the United States has approved USD 7 billion program for development and production of hydrogen fuel.
His goal is to establish seven regional hydrogen hubs to help replace fossil fuels such as coal and oil with cleaner-burning hydrogen as an energy source for vehicles, manufacturing and generating electricity.

The Union Government announced the observation of August 23rd every year as the National Space Day to commemorate the success of the Chandrayaan 3 mission.
It was on August 23rd this year that the Chandrayaan 3 mission undertook a successful landing on the South Pole of the Moon.

Maharashtra’s youngest Grandmaster, 17-year-old Raunak Sadhwani emerged as the U-20 World Junior Rapid Chess champion in Italy.
He scored sole 8.5/11 and was also placed second in the Blitz Open event. Raunak earlier won 38th European Club Cup 2023 Open for Offerspill Sjakklubb along with Magnus Carlsen and Pranav Venkatesh.

Pallikaranai marshland, located in Chennai, in the state of Tamil Nadu has started welcoming first set of migratory birds.
Garganey, northern pintail, northern shoveler, common teal, western yellow wagtail, grey-headed lapwing, common sandpiper, and wood sandpiper have arrived. Raptors, such as red-necked falcon, osprey, and greater-spotted eagle were also sighted.

Louise Gluck, the renowned American poet and Nobel laureate in literature for 2020, has passed away at the age of 80.
She became the 16th woman to receive the Nobel Prize in literature and the first American poet to win the honour since TS Eliot more than 70 years earlier. She won several awards including the Pulitzer Prize in 1993 for her collection The Wild Iris.

Recently, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha inaugurated the first district-level paperless e-office system in South Tripura district. This e-office system comes with various advantages.
The state aims to expand its use to the sub-divisional and panchayat levels, guaranteeing efficient and transparent storage of data and files. It had earlier introduced state-level E-office, followed by E-Vidhansabha and E-Cabinet.

As per the latest Economic Outlook Survey released by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the Indian economy is expected to grow by 6.3 percent in the fiscal year 2023-24.
This projection comes with a range of growth estimates, with a minimum estimate of 6.0 percent and a maximum estimate of 6.6 percent.
