The Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C51 (PSLV-C51) rocket of India successfully lifted off from Sriharikota launch pad.

The National Origin-Based Antidiscrimination for Non-immigrants (NO BAN) Act was reintroduced at the US House of Representatives by the Democratic lawmakers.
The aim of this proposed legislation is to prevent future Muslim ban and prohibit religion-based discrimination. This law is a counter to the Muslim travel ban introduced by the former US President Donald Trump.

The Indian Navy got its third Scorpene submarine, which will be commissioned in Mumbai as INS Karanj. This is a part of the six submarines, which are being constructed under Project 75
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited has delivered three Scorpene submarines to the Indian Navy named Khanderi, Kalvari and Karanj.

Chicxulub crater is an impact crater buried underneath Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. It was formed after the large Chicxulub impactor hit the Earth more than 66 million years ago. Space dust in this crater confirmed the role of the impactor in the mass extinction of dinosaurs.
The recent study connected the space dust and high concentration of worldwide iridium deposits at the time of dinosaurs’ demise to provide this conclusion.

India’s leading private sector bank Axis Bank has recently launched WhatsApp Banking facility, to resolve the queries of consumers 24×7.
This new facility will allow customers to seek information regarding their account balance, recent transactions, credit card payments, fixed and recurring deposit details. It also enables them to get their queries answered in real-time.

Frontier technology is any potentially disruptive technology that can be used to address a large-scale problem. It is considered as the next phase in the evolution of technology.

The country’s first ‘Transgender Community Desk’ has been inaugurated at Gachibowli police station, Telangana.
The desk will be managed by a police liaison officer and a transgender person who is designated as the Community coordinator. The desk will serve as a common point for grievance redressal among transgender community.

French billionaire politician Olivier Dassault recently died in a helicopter crash occurred in northwest France.
He was also a member of the National Assembly of the country. He was a descendant of the Dassault aircraft-making family. The Dassault Aviation group is a leading French plane manufacturer. He was estimated to be the 361st most wealthy person on the planet.
