The West Bengal government launched 20 buses equipped with ‘Shuddha Vayu’ devices that measure air quality along their routes.
These Bus Roof Mounted Air Purification Systems (BRMAPS) have air filters to capture pollutants, and the collected data will be transmitted to the pollution control board’s database for monitoring pollution levels along the bus routes.

The 619th Urs-e-Sharif of Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Banda Nawaz Gesudaraz commenced with the traditional Sandal procession on the dargah premises in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.
This marked the beginning of the annual Urs-e-Sharif celebration.  Banda Nawaz commonly known as Banda Nawaz Gaisu Daraz, was a Hanafi Maturidi scholar and Sufi saint from India of the Chishti Order.

The Disha Mobile App, launched three years ago, has created a record with more than 1.17 crore registrations in the State.
The App was aimed at safety and security of women. Police, women protection secretaries and volunteers attached to village and ward sachivalayams, who launched Disha special drives, registered about 1.17 crore women.

Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) in Jaipur has been identified as the National Centre for Earthquake Safety of Dams.
This is the first centre of its kind in the country. The centre will develop indigenous capabilities in making the country self-reliant in handling technology issues related to structural and earthquake safety of dams.

In a bid to make Uttar Pradesh a leading State in the field of milk development and milk production, the State Government has launched the Nand Baba Milk Mission scheme at a cost of ₹1,000 crore.
The scheme provides milk producers the facility of selling their milk at a reasonable price in villages through dairy co-operative societies.

Scientists have discovered the first documented case of a “virgin birth” in crocodiles, where a female crocodile in Costa Rica has become pregnant without mating.
This phenomenon, known as facultative parthenogenesis, has been observed in fish, lizards, and snakes, but this marks the first occurrence in crocodiles.

The US Space Force is preparing to deploy a satellite constellation called “Silent Barker” to monitor Chinese or Russian space vehicles capable of harming orbiting objects.
This network of satellites, placed in geosynchronous orbit approximately 22,000 miles above Earth, will work in conjunction with ground-based sensors and low-earth orbit satellites, marking the first system of its kind.
