The Maharashtra government recently announced that it will provide Rs 50 crore for the construction of Shiva Srishti. It will be constructed at the base of Raigad fort.

Ti-6Al-4V is a titanium alloy that has 6% aluminium and 4% vanadium. It accounts for 50 percent of the entire titanium market.
Scientists in Australia have created a new class of 3D-printed alloys that removed the need for aluminium and vanadium and makes use of oxygen and iron instead.

India and Nepal signed a series of agreements on energy and transport including the export of Nepal’s hydropower to Bangladesh through Indian territory.
Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is on a four-day visit to India. The two leaders virtually inaugurated six connectivity projects, which include the development of integrated check posts, rail lines and power transmission projects.

The Black-veined white butterfly (Aporia Crataegi), which became extinct in Britain a century ago, made a reappearance recently in London.
They were first labelled as a British species back in 1667. The Butterflies look like the Garden cabbage whites that can be spotted flying in Britain each summer.

It will provide insights required to assess and monitor the progress of financial inclusion by capturing relevant parameters.

NHAI’s First ‘Sustainability Report for FY 2021-22’ was released recently. This report encompasses NHAI’s governance structure, stakeholders, environment and social responsibility initiatives.
The report was recently released by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. Green House Gas (GHG) Emissions from energy consumption, operations, transport and travel measured in Metric Tonnes CO2 equivalent/km constructed saw a decline of 9.7% in FY 2020-21 and 2% in FY 2021-22.

The 619th Urs-e-Sharif of Sufi saint Hazrat Khwaja Banda Nawaz Gesudaraz commenced with the traditional Sandal procession on the dargah premises in Kalaburagi, Karnataka.
This marked the beginning of the annual Urs-e-Sharif celebration.  Banda Nawaz commonly known as Banda Nawaz Gaisu Daraz, was a Hanafi Maturidi scholar and Sufi saint from India of the Chishti Order.

A state-of-the-art Integrated Command and Control Centre (ICCC) has been set up on the outskirts of Srinagar city under Smart City Mission.
The Centre will be responsible for GIS mapping and will have a digital address for all the properties in the City. The Centre is also tasked to lay a 175 KM long fibre net for uninterrupted services to the locals.
