Twitter has started rolling out the voice messages feature, under which recorded voice message can be sent via Direct Message in India.
This new voice message feature is being launched in select countries in a phased manner. The voice message feature is already present in various instant messaging apps like WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram, and others.

Ethiopian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Demeke Mekonnen Hassen arrived in New Delhi.
He inaugurated the new Chancery and Residence at Ethiopian Embassy in New Delhi along with External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar. They also discussed on various bilateral and global issues of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently laid the foundation stone for Dhubri-Phulbari Bridge over Brahmaputra river.
It is a 19 km long 4-lane bridge to be laid from Dhubri in Assam to Phulbari in Meghalaya. The bridge will improve transport connectivity in the Barak valley. It also reduces the distance between the four North eastern states of Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram and Assam.

The Commonwealth High Level Law Ministers Meeting on the Legal aspects of COVID-19 was chaired by the Law Minister of Sri Lanka. It was organised in virtual mode by Commonwealth Secretariat.
Anoop Kumar Mendiratta, Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law & Justice represented India on behalf of Union Minister for Law & Justice Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad. He said that India used video-conferencing to dispose the cases in a timely fashion during the pandemic.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is to formulate the Space Entrepreneurship & Enterprise Development (SEED)”.
As per the Chairman of the ISRO K Sivan, the programme aims to provide early-stage encouragement programme to start-ups and MSMEs, which are keen on developing services related to space. ISRO will also let the companies use its facilities.

India has taken 34 days to achieve 1 crore COVID-19 vaccination mark. India became the second fastest country in the world to achieve 1 crore vaccination. Covid vaccine has been administered first to health care workers and frontline workers.
USA took 31 days and the United Kingdom took 56 days to achieve 1 crore vaccination mark.

Uttar Pradesh is set to export a consignment of 20 tonnes of Buddha Rice, also known as “Kala Namak” Rice to Singapore.
This variety of rice is one of the finest varieties of aromatic rice in India. This will boost the farm exports of the states with more focus on the Buddhist countries. The state Government has declared it as the One District One Product (ODOP) of Siddharth Nagar district.

The state Government of Uttar Pradesh presented the first paperless budget of Rs 5.50 lakh crore in the state.
The budget for the Financial Year 2021-22 was presented by the state’s Finance Minister Suresh Khanna. All members of the UP Legislative Assembly were given tablets to read the budget and a mobile app called “Uttar Pradesh Sarkar ka Budget” was also launched.

After the Puducherry Chief Minister V Narayanasamy lost the confidence vote on the floor of the Legislative Assembly, the UT’s Congress-DMK government collapsed.
The Chief Minister tendered his resignation to the Lt Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, with only around four months remaining for completion of its tenure.

The Government of UP in its state budget has announced that the under-construction airport at Ayodhya would be named as Maryada Purushottam Sriram Airport.
The budget has made a provision for Rs.101 crores for the airport. It is also envisaged that the airport would soon be made an international airport.
