Dholpur-Karauli Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan is India’s 54th tiger reserve. The National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) approved the reserve, which is located in the Karauli and Dholpur districts. It is Rajasthan’s fifth tiger reserve, after Ranthambore, Sariska, Mukundra Hills, and Ramgarh Vishdhari.

Meta Platforms said it would release an artificial intelligence (AI) model designed to assist in writing computer code
It is a large language model (LLM) that can use text prompts to generate and discuss code. It has the potential to make workflows faster and more efficient for developers. Code Llama has the potential to be used as a productivity and educational tool to help programmers write more robust software.

Former Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court, Justice Prakash Shrivastava, took oath as the new Chairperson of the National Green Tribunal.
Earlier, the Centre had appointed Justice Sheo Kumar Singh as the acting chairperson on the retirement of Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel.

Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant released the Biodiversity Atlas of Mayem in North Goa, which is India’s First Village Atlas.
The function was jointly organised by Mayem Vaiguinim Grampanchayat, Biodiversity Management Committee, Mayem Vaiguinim and Mayem Panlot Sangh. The government will come up with a biodiversity atlas of all 191 panchayats in the state.

The G20 Trade and Investment Ministers’ meeting concluded at Jaipur, called the Pink City of India. The meeting was led by Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry.
Under India’s Presidency, the G20 Trade and Investment Ministerial reached a groundbreaking consensus on five concrete and action-oriented deliverables which have been adopted in the Outcome Document of Trade Ministerial Meeting held in Jaipur. G20 Ministers also issued a Jaipur Call for Action for enhancing access to information for MSMEs.

To eliminate hazardous cleaning, stop deaths of sewer and septic tank workers and ensure their safety and dignity, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MoSJE) and Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) have jointly formulated a scheme namely National Action for Mechanised Sanitation Ecosystem (NAMASTE).
The scheme is to be implemented in all 4800+ Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) of the country, during the three years up to 2025-26 with an outlay of Rs. 349.70 crore.

IIT Bombay has partnered with HSBC to pursue technological advancements towards making green hydrogen production more efficient, cost-effective, and scalable.
The focus will be on innovative projects that will help position green hydrogen as a strategic alternate fuel; help in building a robust, green hydrogen economy and achieve the government’s vision of an energy-independent nation.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the B20 Summit India 2023 in New Delhi. B20 Summit India brings policymakers, business leaders and experts from across the world to deliberate and discuss the B20 India Communique.
The B20 India Communique includes 54 recommendations and 172 policy actions for submission to G20.

Japan’s space agency suspended a planned launch of an H-IIA rocket that was to carry a moon lander into space.
The launch was cancelled because of unsuitable wind conditions in the upper atmosphere. The rocket is carrying JAXA’s Smart Lander for Investigating Moon (SLIM), which would be the first Japanese spacecraft to land on the moon.

Notes:
Kolkata Port, also known as Syama Prasad Mookherjee Port (SMP), is offering nearly 60 acres of its land in the city for the state’s first multi-modal logistics park (MMLP).
None of the multi-modal logistics parks proposed across the country is in the port area. Here, more than 25 acres of warehousing space is available, there is a single window system. It is strategically located very close to highways, and it is well-connected to Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, and North-Eastern India.
