Indian Naval Ship Kulish, a guided missile Corvette of the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) at Port Blair visited Singapore to take part in the multinational exercise SEACAT 2023.

The report by State Bank of India Research stated that weighted mean income increased to Rs 13 lakh in assessment year 2022-23 (financial year 2021-22) and is expected to increase to Rs 49.7 lakh in 2047.
It cited a transition from lower income group to upper income group along with a rise in the number of tax filers who were earlier not reporting income.

The Himachal Pradesh Government has relaxed the provisions of ‘Vidhayak Ksetra Vikas Nidhi Yojana’ (VKVNY) during the financial year 2023–24 by including protection works of retaining walls and channelization of Nullahs under it.
This decision was taken in view of heavy losses caused to human lives besides public and private properties during recent heavy rains in the State, said Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu.

StartupTN, the State nodal agency for Startup and Innovation, which is taking strides to make Tamil Nadu a Global Startup ecosystem leader, is organising ‘TamilNadu Startup Thiruvizha 2023’.
This first two-day annual mega event is to celebrate Tamil Nadu’s spirit of entrepreneurship and to highlight the efforts taken by the Government of Tamil Nadu to support Startups, aspirants, and other stakeholders at various stages of growth.

Camp David is a 125-acre country retreat for the President of the United States. US, South Korea, and Japan agreed to deepen military and economic ties. In a landmark summit held at Camp David, leaders of the three nations also made their strongest collective condemnation yet of China’s “dangerous and aggressive behaviour” in the South China Sea.
The meeting was attended by American President Joe Biden, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

The China Evergrande Group is a Chinese property developer, and the second largest in China by sales.
China’s Evergrande Group officially filed for bankruptcy in New York. The company has been facing substantial borrowing and debt defaults since 2021. This triggered an ongoing property crisis within China.

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed its Baa3 rating on India and maintained the stable outlook, but warned of political issues and even cited the example of the ongoing violence in Manipur.
The rating agency said the affirmation of India’s rating and stable outlook was driven by its view that the economy is set to grow rapidly by international standards, although potential growth has declined in the last 7-10 years.

The country’s first indigenous e-Tractor Prima ET11 has been developed by the CSIR’s Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Durgapur.
The machine was launched by the Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh. Dr. Jitendra Singh unveiled a book by the CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) and a compendium showcasing 75 technologies developed by CSIR.

India’s Ministry of development of north eastern region (MDoNER) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) joined hands to enhance and fast track sustainable development goals (SDGs) in the northeastern region.
UNDP will support in monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, support for aspirational districts and blocks, and the deployment of emerging technologies in governance.
