Pusa Farm SunFridge

Pusa Farm SunFridge is a refrigeration system developed by the scientists of Indian Agricultural Research Institute. It is a green solution, as it is 100% solar powered, for cold storage of farm produce. It is an on-farm solution for minimising post-harvest losses. It is a 10X10X10 structure that has rooftop solar panels capable of generating 5 KW power to run the air conditioning. It can maintain temperatures of 3-4°C during the daytime.
