National Creche Scheme

National Creche Scheme is the current version of Rajiv Gandhi National Creche Scheme. It is implemented by the Ministry of Women and Child Development. It is an initiative to provide day care facilities to children of working mothers to facilitate inclusion of more women into the workforce. Children between the ages of 6 moths to 6 years are taken care of at these facilities. The creches under the scheme had stopped functioning in light of the pandemic.
