Mission Fateh 2.0

Mission Fateh 2.0

Mission Fateh 2.0 is the initiative of the Punjab government that seeks to rope in youth to volunteer in combating the surging COVID-19 infections in the rural areas. It is part of the state’s Corona Mukt Punjab Abhiyan (Covid-free Punjab Campaign).

Under this initiative, groups of seven Rural Corona Volunteers (RCVs) are formed as cadres for each  village or a municipal ward. They are to assist the Panchayats and Municipalities in their fight against the raging pandemic. They will test, trace and treat COVID-19 cases, connect the elderly and economically vulnerable to the Covid Control Rooms and helplines, create awareness about COVID appropriate behaviours etc.
