Indian Railways to operate pilgrimage tourist train Shri Ramayana Express

IRCTC recently announced that the Indian Railways is to operate a special pilgrimage tourist train Shri Ramayana Express. The special train of IRCTC, which will cover the pilgrimage sites associated with Lord Ram known as the ‘Ramayana Circuit of India’, is to be run from March 28, from New Delhi.

It will have ten coaches including five AC 3 tier coaches. The booking of the tour of 16 nights -17 days is to be carried out on first come first take basis.
