Indian-origin minister Suella Braverman sworn in as UK’s Attorney General

Indian-origin minister Suella Braverman recently sworn in as the Attorney General of the United Kingdom. She was appointed by the new British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, after he reshuffled his cabinet.

Suella is only the second female to be appointed in the crucial role and she is also the first female Attorney General to be appointed by a Conservative Party government.
