India Showcases Defence Prowess at Dubai Air Show 2025
India is presenting a strong display of its defence and aviation capabilities at the Dubai Air Show 2025, held from 17–18 November at Al Maktoum Airbase. The event offers India an important platform to highlight its technological achievements, aerial skill and expanding presence in the global aerospace sector.
High-Level Delegation Leads India’s Participation
Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth is heading the Indian delegation, accompanied by senior officials from key defence and foreign affairs departments. A bilateral meeting with the UAE counterpart is scheduled on the sidelines of the event. The Minister will also chair an industry round table featuring companies from India and several major global economies to explore deeper partnerships in defence production.
India Pavilion Highlights Indigenous Strength
A dedicated India Pavilion has been set up to exhibit products from organisations such as HAL, DRDO, Corel Technologies, Dantal Hydraulics, Image Synergy Ekxplor and SFO Technologies. In addition to the Pavilion, nineteen Indian defence companies, including Bharat Forge, BrahMos, Tech Mahindra and HBL Engineering, are showcasing their products independently. Fifteen Indian startups are also displaying innovations in aerospace and defence technology.
IAF’s Aerial Display Steals the Spotlight
The Indian Air Force contingent has arrived with the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and LCA Tejas fighters. The Suryakiran team, flying nine Hawk Mk-132 jets, remains the only nine-aircraft aerobatic team in Asia and has delivered over 500 displays. Its performances, featuring precision loops, rolls and synchronised crossovers, reflect exceptional skill and coordination.
