Himachal CM Launches ‘Padhai with AI’ Learning Initiative
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday formally launched the Bilaspur district administration’s innovative digital education initiative, ‘Padhai with AI’, at Barthin. The programme marks a significant step towards integrating artificial intelligence into public education delivery, with a focus on students preparing for competitive examinations.
AI-Based Platform for Competitive Exam Aspirants
The ‘Padhai with AI’ platform has been designed exclusively for students of Bilaspur district, offering technology-enabled and quality learning resources. Speaking at the launch, “Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu” emphasised that education is not limited to syllabus completion but is a transformative tool for shaping society and future generations. He stated that the state government is committed to strengthening the education system through innovation and equal access.
Focus on Equal Access and Academic Counselling
The Chief Minister highlighted that the initiative ensures a fully digital learning ecosystem, providing students with equal study opportunities irrespective of background. The platform also includes continuous academic counselling to guide learners through preparation strategies and subject understanding. The programme aims to reduce disparities in access to coaching and quality study material.
District Administration and NTPC Support
Deputy Commissioner Bilaspur Rahul Kumar explained that the initiative delivers modern, technology-driven educational facilities with support from “NTPC”. Technical Education Minister “Rajesh Dharmani” and senior officials were present, underlining the administration’s collaborative approach to education reform at the district level.

MoU Signed to Boost Geothermal Green Energy
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with “Geotropy India Pvt. Ltd.” to advance Himachal Pradesh’s vision of becoming a Green Energy State. The agreement, signed in the presence of Revenue Minister “Jagat Singh Negi” and “Benedikt Hoskuldsson”, focuses on harnessing geothermal energy, which the state government views as a clean, round-the-clock and environment-friendly power source.
