Exercise MILAN 2026 Inaugurated in Visakhapatnam

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the 13th edition of Exercise MILAN-2026 at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking the commencement of one of the world’s prominent multilateral naval exercises. The event underscores India’s expanding maritime outreach and its role as a trusted and responsible maritime partner.

Addressing the gathering, the Defence Minister stated that the 2026 edition, with participation from 74 nations, is the largest and most inclusive in the exercise’s history.
