Beijing offers tariff waiver for Dhaka amid border tensions with India

While India is working to counter Chinese aggression along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) , China has reached out to Bangladesh on June 16 by offering to waive off 97% tariff on 5161 traded items. Bangladesh is seen by India as a strong ally in the neighbourhood. This comes days after Nepal redrew its map despite India’s disapproval.
