Arun Icecreams has created history by organising the world’s ‘largest ice cream social party’ in Hyderabad, bringing together thousands of children for a unique record-breaking celebration. The event, held on February 6, 2026, was officially recognised by Guinness World Records, underscoring the brand’s large-scale consumer engagement and organisational capability.

Record-breaking participation in Hyderabad

The event took place in Hyderabad and witnessed the participation of 5,113 children. All participants consumed ice cream continuously for 30 minutes, meeting the strict criteria laid down by Guinness World Records. The scale of participation made it the largest such gathering ever recorded for an ice cream social party.

Surpassing the previous global benchmark

The earlier Guinness World Record for the largest ice cream social party was set six years ago in Salerno, where 962 people had taken part. The Hyderabad event exceeded this figure by a wide margin, setting a new global benchmark and highlighting India’s growing presence in international record-setting events.

Official recognition and certification

The record was formally validated by Guinness World Records through its adjudicator Richard William Stenning. The certificate was presented to C. Sathyan, Vice-Chairman of Hatsun Agro Product Ltd, the parent company of Arun Icecreams. Company officials stated that the achievement reflects the brand’s strong connection with younger consumers.
