2018 World Students’ Day (WSD)

The World Students’ Day (WSD) is observed every year on 15th of October to mark the birth anniversary of former President of India and great scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. Dr. Kalam was also the great author. Among his books are: ‘Wings of Fire’, ‘My journey’, ‘Ignited Minds – Unleashing the power within India’ and ‘India 2020 – A Vision for the New Millennium’. In 2015 the United Nations declared 15 October “World Students’ Day”. The day is a celebration of multiculturalism, diversity and cooperation among students across the globe.
